What we liked
- + Box of 50 per the listing, enough cones for many firings.
- + Orton brand cones are widely used for kiln sitter work, and cone 04 is the standard bisque target for low fire clay.
- + Under $20 for a box of 50, which is a low cost per firing.
Trade-offs
- - The product page gives only the cone number and pack size, with no firing temperature or usage notes.
- - This is cone 04, not 06, so it suits bisque rather than low fire glaze firings, and it is for Kiln Sitter use only.
