What we liked
- + Listed at 8.3 inches overall with a 4.7 inch blade, a handy size for trimming edges and cleaning up joins.
- + Wooden handle is described as comfortable to hold during longer trimming sessions.
- + Very low price for a single knife, a good pick for a first fettling tool or a spare.
Trade-offs
- - The listing does not state the blade steel or hardness, so edge life is unknown compared with a branded knife.
- - Sold as one knife only, unlike the multi-piece sets in this guide, and the product page also mentions non-pottery uses.
