What we liked
- + Open wheel with no arm tools or domes, so kids practice centering and pulling walls with their own hands.
- + Kit includes the 4.7 inch wheel, 8 sculpting tools, air dry clay, 12 paints and brushes, no kiln needed.
- + Variable speed motor, non-slip weighted base and a removable splash guard that wipes clean.
Trade-offs
- - A 4.7 inch wheel head limits you to very small pieces, and the listing gives no motor power or rpm.
- - Supplied clay is air dry, so finished pieces are decorative only, not fired ceramics.
