What we liked
- + Large 15.75 x 11.8 inch surface holds several small pieces or one big slab project.
- + Made of wood and listed as lightweight but strong, with 34 mm of thickness for a solid feel.
- + Sold as one board, which keeps the cost low and lets you add more only if you need them.
Trade-offs
- - Wood does not absorb water like a plaster slab, so pieces may dry more slowly and unevenly.
- - It is a rectangular board rather than a round bat, so it will not fit a wheel head.
