What we liked
- + Seven wooden ribs and foot shapers in one set cover shaping walls, refining rims and forming pot bases
- + Curved, serrated and flat edges give both smooth compression and scored or textured surfaces
- + Natural wood is light and comfortable to hold, and firmer than silicone for defining a profile
Trade-offs
- - Wood species and rib dimensions are not stated in the listing, so sizes are hard to judge before buying
- - Rigid wood does not flex to a curve the way soft silicone or rubber ribs do, so it suits shaping more than final smoothing
