What we liked
- + 24 x 18 inch (61 x 45.7 cm) surface gives room for larger batches of clay and for handbuilding or glazing on the same board
- + Sturdy 9 mm MDF with a built-in handle balances stiffness against weight for carrying to class or outdoors
- + No canvas covering by design, which the listing says avoids the dry clay dust that builds up in fabric
Trade-offs
- - Same construction as the smaller CALPALMY board, so the only real difference between the two is the size
- - At 9 mm it is thinner than half-inch boards, and a board this size needs flat storage or a wall hook
