What we liked
- + Two swappable aluminum alloy turntables, 6.5 cm and 10 cm, cover different sizes of miniature pots
- + Removable ABS basin catches water and clay and keeps it out of the machine, then lifts off for cleaning
- + Kit includes a 16-piece tool set and a waterproof apron, so a beginner can start without buying extras
Trade-offs
- - Turntables top out at 3.94 inches, so this is for miniatures and practice, not full-size tableware
- - A 30W motor at 0 to 300 RPM has limited torque, so only small amounts of soft clay are practical
