What we liked
- + MindWare is known for educational toys, so instructions are made for young makers
- + Simple setup gets kids shaping clay quickly with little adult help
- + Good gift for testing whether a child enjoys pottery before bigger spending
Trade-offs
- - Toy-level motor cannot center real stoneware or larger lumps of clay
- - Confirm exactly what clay and tools ship in the box before ordering
