What we liked
- + From the Potter's Choice line, listed as layerable and fired at cone 5-6 on cone 04 bisque, a standard mid-range schedule.
- + Listing says it gives cone 10 reduction style effects without a reduction kiln or very high temperatures.
- + Listed as lead-free and non-toxic, and the 16 oz size is enough to test and glaze several pieces.
Trade-offs
- - Sold as a single color, so a full palette or layering experiments mean buying more jars.
- - The listing gives no brushing or dipping instructions, so check the manufacturer's notes for coat count and thickness.
