AMACO LG-10 Gloss Glaze, Clear Transparent, 1 Gallon
A 1 gallon jar of AMACO LG-10 clear transparent gloss glaze. The listing says it is formulated for brushing, pouring, dipping and sponging. It is sold by the gallon, so it costs far more up front than a pint clear.

What we liked
- + Formulated for brushing, pouring, dipping and sponging, so one glaze handles dips and brushed touch-ups.
- + Gallon volume suits batch glazing, with enough depth to dip mugs and small bowls.
- + AP certified non-toxic and listed as dinnerware safe, from one of the best-known glaze makers.
Trade-offs
- - AMACO's LG series is low fire and this listing does not print the cone, so check the label against your clay.
- - A gallon costs several times what a pint clear does, more glaze than an occasional potter will use.
