What we liked
- + Smooth texture gives a clean surface for painting and carving
- + Activa Plus is a long-standing art-store clay with steady quality
- + 1kg block is a handy size for small sculptures and ornaments
Trade-offs
- - Dries fairly quickly, so keep unused clay wrapped while working
- - Not waterproof, so vases and dishes need a sealant
